storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires. they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

Good polish but not quite the colour shown on the website

The polish is beautiful, was basically a one coater and applied nicely. Not sure if it's just my bottle (I don't think it is) but the colour in real life is a fair bit different to the one shown in the swatches on the website (even after viewing it on my phone and laptop). The swatches make it appear a lot more blue and and cool and almost like a blurple. While IRL it's a lot more of a true violet purple and a bit more warm-toned as well. Still a beautiful colour and a good match to the branding but just not what I was expecting from the photos and videos I've seen of it.

Let me preface this by saying that this polish was a one-coater for me! The color is gorgeous and, in person, looks like your nails just became the most beautiful violet neon sign that you see in party districts all over the world! I cannot make out the underlying tones much - not sure if it leans more towards warm or cool tones - and would, honestly, say that it is a very neutral violet (with subtle hints of cool tones) and I am here for it!

Bummed

I saw this color and knew I had to have it, very disappointed when I received it and put it on. Not at all like the pic, that’s bluer, where the actual color is very dark purple. It’s also very matte and will show flaws in the nails beneath. May be sending this one back.

Been looking…

Five stars strictly because I’ve been looking for a purple like this that didn’t look black after the second coat for years. Like others, I also find that it isn’t quite the same as the picture; it almost reads neon to me here and irl it’s cool purple. Probably could have gotten away with one coat. Dries on the matte side. Pretty great overall if you’re looking for a saturated purple polish that will stay close to the bottle color.

Madly in love

This color is every bit as vibrant as the photos and might be my new favorite color. It dried incredibly fast which is a mega-bonus since I tend to mess my nails up otherwise.
