application: used alone, this lacquer will have a textured finish when dry. we recommend topping it off with our MATTE MADE IN HELL or SPEED DEMON TOP COAT for a silky smooth, long-lasting finish.


storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

a field at the end of autumn in a bottle

i couldn’t explain in a better way than it looks like a field of leaves right at end of autumn, when the grass is no longer green and the leaves have become this red yellow brown mush. i LOVE it. it gives me feels! & the formula was fantastic and applied so well!

Exceptional color

this brown lacquer with flakes make for such a unique look! i had to let it grow on me, but it’s a perfect fall color. just used the flakes as a topper over boa constrictor too; beautiful finish to the holographic shift!

First thing I grabbed to start October!

As soon as it turned October (my favorite and best month of the year) I dug up this polish from my stash that's been sitting around for months. I have been waiting to use this polish specifically for the fall and it's PERFECT. It looks like magical shimmering autumn leaves or a fire opal. The colors of the flakies shift from gold, orange, green, and even a little blue at extreme angles in the light. I only needed to use two coats for perfect coverage and with every brushstroke, tons of flakies spread nicely across the nail. I'm wearing it with a glossy top coat but I will definitely be trying it in matte next time. I love any flakies in both glossy and matte!

The best shade for fall. Not the smoothest application, but after two layers it became opaque and it looked perfect.
