IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT.

welcome to limbo. cycle through every shade of desire with a fiery thermal lacquer prone to shift with your every fluctuation in fahrenheit. as your temperature rises, and your claws thaw, you’ll see them transition from a deep shade of wine red to a shade of raspberry red. as your feelings chill, you’ll watch as they cycle right back to a deep wine red yet again. occupy the tricky inbetween? and your claws will meld into an ombre-like purgatory. it’s a true study of heat.

QUEEN OF THE DEAD is a dark red thermal lacquer that transitions from a shade of deep wine red when cold to a shade of raspberry red when warm. from the SEASONS OF PERSEPHONE SET.

note: it can take up to a few hours for the color transitioning effect to be activated for the first time.

applying a base coat + finishing this shade with SPEED DEMON TOP COAT is required to prevent chipping + prolong its wear.

how a thermal lacquer looks + transitions may vary based on your body chemistry, room conditions, + current climate. due to the nature of thermals, this lacquer will also have a thicker formula.

application: a real smooth operator. while this creamy lacquer may dry smooth on its own, applying SPEED DEMON TOP COAT is required to prevent chipping + prolong its wear.

storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires. they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

Works great even on short nails

Works great. I love how it’s not just plain black to red, it’s like an oxblood purple color to red.

Incredible red!

Perfectly opaque in 2 coats and the colors are exactly like the pictures! I can tell it's very high quality and it's totally worth it for the price! I noticed without a clear top coat it does dry just the tiniest bit matte, but it's beautiful either way. Thank you mooncat!!!

Very reactive

Just a fun polish, both colours are nice! It's very reactive and really gives you the easiest halloween manicure in one bottle

Beautiful formula

This one is perfect for October, but use a base coat to minimize the staining

Meh

I really wanted to love this polish but found it just okay. The thermal is quite reactive, which is nice, but the colors just aren't what I was hoping for. The red looks much deeper in the pictures than it actually is. I also don't love the formula. The application starts smoothly but quickly gets goopy, almost like it has started drying before I can get it to the end of my nail. Because of that I had to put a lot more polish on the brush, which resulted in really thick coats that I'm not a fan of. I'm hoping that using a few drops of polish thinner next time I try to wear it will help but it's unfortunate that I have to go that route with a brand new bottle of polish.
