application: used alone, this lacquer will have a  slightly textured, matte finish when dry. we recommend topping it off with our MATTE MADE IN HELL or SPEED DEMON TOP COAT for a silky smooth, long-lasting finish.


storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

Triceratops review

I’ve never gone for a matte polish but was amazed by how much I liked it. It dries extremely quick and was surprised it dried smooth rather than rough with all the flakes it has! Loved this product!!

The jelly base gives the polish alot of depth. Definitely one of those that looks better IRL than in pictures

From the Pretty Prehistoric Set

This one reminds me of crystal matrix, it has a slate feeling to it. Matte is a softer gray and a glossy topcoat darkens it substantially. Formula is very nice and suitable for a quick mani. 2-3 coat coverage (depending on if you want sheer or opaque), fast drying.

Looks great matte and glossy!

I ordered Triceratops on a bit of a whim and I’m so glad I did! It looks great matte as well as with a glossy topcoat and applies nicely. I found it was opaque in 2 coats.

Gloomy, dreamy crystals

I couldn't wait to try this polish. First of all it applies like a dream. Three coates of easy application with a matte finish. I wanted to jazz mine up a little bit so I topped one thin coat each of aura and moondust. Beautiful. I am really enjoying the shade of gray and the beautiful pop of color.
