application: used alone, this lacquer will have a textured finish when dry. we recommend topping it off with our MATTE MADE IN HELL or SPEED DEMON TOP COAT for a silky smooth, long-lasting finish.


storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

You won't be a fool...

... if you buy this topper. All of the professional photos for this nail polish are 100% accurate! The color, the flake size, everything! I added this on top of LA Color mermaid, glow in the dark top coat, then finished up with two coats of LA Color top coat. Zero damage to the Fool's Gold Topper. It looks just as foolishly sparkling as the day I put it on one week ago. Heads up - I type much of the day, mess with granite, and do a lot of hand-work crafting. Durability on this is excellent!

Fool’s Gold Topper

Fool’s Gold is a matte topper filled with golden flakies but I actually prefer it glossy. Makes everything look extraaa!

finally!

i've been waiting to pick this topper up and the rewards this month meant i finally got it! it's so fun and a great way to add extra bedazzle. goes fantastic over dark mattes.

Gorgeous gold!

This is a beautiful topper. I think I need to practice with thickness of application. I had hoped for more spread out flakies and I could build it I wanted more but the flakies were pretty thick in 1 coat.

Midas Would Approve

I had resisted adding this gilded elixir to my collection and only gave in once it was a reward and even then reluctantly. Do not sleep on this one and do not let the pictures put you off as they did me. I personally would not put it over neutrals as it loses some of it's pizazz as a warm on warm. Put my swatch over a layer of Holo Taco's one coat black and on just a plain bare nail and OMG.. it is gorgeous. You really need the glossy topcoat to appreciate the true beauty of this topper as for me, wearing it matte dims it's shine. I would put this over every creme I own to give them a pop and even some of the less shimmery, especially cool polishes. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
