think you’ve found a rainbow?
it’s just a cruel mirage. this black linear holographic lacquer shows arcs of color that shine in the light one moment, then disappear into darkness the next. CRUEL MIRAGE is always mysterious, always changing, and full of surprises.

note: holographic lacquers look best in the sunlight or under a direct light, where they reveal their full rainbow effect. in the shade or overcast conditions, the effect will be more muted (but still mesmerizing).
storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

I got this for my daughter who is a nail tech and she loved it the only thing was that on one of the other colors, the brush was not really a good one.
Stunning in the sun!
I am so in love with this nail polish
So incredibly beautiful! I had full coverage with two coats. This is flawless as is but next time I want to try applying it over a black base to see what one coat looks like. This is a pretty, dark gray but would love to see if I can get it a little darker to really make the holo pop! Absolutely love this.
The Battle Of The Black Holos
I have two black holo shades in my collection; this shade and a similar one from Holo Taco, and I'll say that I prefer the broader brush tip that Mooncat polishes provide, and the formula is much smoother to work with. The downside is that it appears as more of a grey holo than a black, even in three coats. You may need to layer this with a black base if you want a more opaque black shade. It's still gorgeous and gives you a nice Holo finish, and I'll probably gravitate toward this shade over my Holo Taco in the future just because it's easier to work with and has a stunning payoff!
