I use this with every manicure, right on top of the hardcore base coat. It really does fill my ridges, and it also helps a lot to fill in any dips and waves. It's a beautiful shade on its own and sometimes I'll just leave it as it is for a day or so before I get around to picking a lacquer shade.

I used to just use a base coat and top coat to get my manis to last longer, not thinking a primer was that important. I ordered this to see if it would reduce staining of dark polishes (like Queen of the ******). It does that but also, it creates an almost sticky texture that polish just wants to cling to. I am rough on my hands at work and usually my manis chip within a couple of days. First week using this and my manicure lasted a full seven days before chipping. This very quickly became an essential for doing my nails at home.
