just beneath the surface. where glittering glimpses of earthen rays pierce through the turquoise waves, trying their best to lure you back to shore. as you slip farther and farther from their grasp, and wade deeper and deeper into mysterious fathoms below.
SUNKEN SPLENDOR is a turquoise magnetic lacquer filled with reflective glitter and yellow and green iridescent flakies that reveals a gold stripe. from the EXPEDITION: ATLANTIS set.
A NOTE FOR SMOOTH SAILS: reflective magnetic lacquers are highly textured and should be finished with 1-2 layers of our SPEED DEMON TOP COAT.
storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

A GUIDE TO APPLYING
1. always work one nail at a time. apply a full coat of magnetic lacquer and immediately hover your magnetic wand as close to the nail as possible. use the rectangular end to create a stripe effect or the round end for a more abstract result. hover your wand for at least 10-15 seconds.
*for the strongest effect, hover until the lacquer dries, for ~45-60 seconds.
2. repeat step one until your lacquer is opaque.
3. once your nails are dry, seal them one by one with SPEED DEMON TOP COAT. immediately hover your wand over your nail to prevent the magnetic pigments from spreading. keep hovering until your top coat is completely dry. this step is crucial for locking in a sharp final design.
FOR FASTER APPLICATION: start with a coat of crème lacquer—use black lacquer for dark magnetics or any complementary opaque shade for light magnetics. doing so will create an opaque foundation and allow you to use fewer coats of magnetic lacquer per manicure.
Great color and the contrast is perfect
This is a nice polish, a beautiful color. Under flash, very sparkly, and still sparkly in normal light but not intensely so. Personally I prefer Poseidon's Prize which is an incredibly rich a bluer shade.
I love this beautiful, turquoise polish. I had to work a little to get the magnetic effect, but once I did it was stunning. A bit brighter and more sparkly than Poseidon’s Prize imo.
You have to follow the directions for the best results (as in base coat on one nail, first layer of polish (magnet), second layer of polish (magnet), third layer of polish (magnet), topcoat. THEN the next nail). It's time consuming but the results are beautiful! However, I noticed the effect faded after about a week. This could just be placebo effect or user error as well.
Good - but magnetic effect doesn't last.
I like it a lot - I've found you REALLY need to follow the directions (magnet after every coat and work one single nail at a time. As in, base coat, first coat (magnet), second coat (magnet), third coat (magnet) and THEN go to the next nail). however (and this could just be me) I found the cool magnetic 'effect' faded / became less noticeable after about a week. Otherwise, they color is beautiful.
