WORTH IT!
Ok, so I have always ****** at painting my nails, but I love cats and dark things, so the moon at FB ad got my attention. I was super impressed by all the reviews here, on Reddit, and IG. Being the good little neurodivergent that I am, I purchased this set, plus the other two available base and top coats, and 11ish colors. PEOPLE! This polish is so easy to apply and IT LASTS. I am ROUGH on my nails because: ADHD. I am forgetful and just don’t pay attention and hit them on things, use them to open packages, etc… First I thought, I have some of these tools and don’t really need them, but wanted the cuticle tool and the file, so figured I might as well just get the brush thing too. THE BRUSH THING IS SOOOO AMAZING! I have a few different brushes from previous failed attempts at trying to get good at painting my nails and they do not compare. I don’t know what it is, but it’s different and I love it. The crystal file is amazing! My previous nail care was just remembering to cut my nails after I got out of the shower once-ish a month. This file doesn’t make me want to cry from the noise, because there isn’t really any noise coming from it, and it shaves off your nail so smoothly! Just AMAZING! My BFF is so good at doing nails and if I ever want them done I just go to her. When I sent her pics of my nails with my second application, she was impressed at how great my almond shape was and how clean my nails looked (historically I’m a sloppy polisher). TLDR: This isn’t like any other polish and tool set. It’s better. Get it. You won’t regret. If you do, you can send it to me.

okay so i am a nail tech and very loyal to gel polish because of the wear that happens to my nails at work. i ordered the essentials when i orders the hocus pocus collection and holy sh*t- i’m impressed. i used the polish and topper over my soft gel extensions and after three shifts of all types of manicures, this stuff did. not. budge. in addition to that i used the top and base on my toes and my pedi looks and lasts like gel. i’m a changed woman now and can officially say that i am obsessed. hands down thee best top and base i’ve ever used on my nails (and toes).

I wore the base coat and the primer on their own while I grew my nails out and I was impressed by how the base coat really did help them grow much faster! Top coat dries really fast and adds this wonderful finish to the other polishes.

Still loving all things mooncat. Each additional set I order makes me want more. I’ve never had nail polish that actually lasts, but I can wear mooncat all week without chips, even when washing my hands a lot.
