application: used alone, this lacquer will have a textured finish when dry. we recommend topping it off with our SPEED DEMON TOP COAT for a silky smooth, long-lasting finish.
storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires: they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

I think I'm officially OBSESSED
The first shade I tried was Snakecharmer and this color is so beautiful its mesmerizing. In certain light it looks like a glittery peacock teal color, and other lights it reminds me of mermaid/sea blue. If you are on the fence, just buy it! These polishes are so sparkly & you get full nail coverage in two coats where I've found most other brands that have glitter polishes they are not opaque.

The shades in this collection are super pretty but I’m very disappointed that the purples are so similar. When they’re on my nails I can’t tell a difference. If I’m paying 80 dollars for a collection I want unique colors!

Did I need to buy more purple nail polish? Absolutely not. Was it worth it and do all the four shades of purple Mooncat nail polish I now own look wildly different? YES. The collection name inspired by Greek mythology certainly tempted me, but the colors in this set already contained 2 or 3 shades I was wanting to buy because of how beautiful the colors were. Purchasing the whole set was definitely worth it as the colors I wouldn't have bought otherwise look so good and help to compliment a professional wardrobe. The paint goes on smoothly, dries faster than any of the grocery store colors I'd tried before (and promptly ruined because I couldn't sit still long enough to let them dry), and lasts impressively well.
