application: a real smooth operator. while this creamy lacquer may dry smooth on its own, we still recommend applying our MATTE MADE IN HELL or SPEED DEMON TOP COAT for a long-lasting finish.
storage: think of mooncat nail lacquers like vampires. they feel most at home in cool, dark places. store them accordingly to keep them looking and applying their best. lacquer exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change in color or consistency over time...and just have generally bad vibes.

I was so excited to see a red from Mooncat! It looks exactly as pictured. Takes a couple coats for full opacity.

The shimmer in this is amazing! However, I must give it 4 stars. The formula is sheer (3+ coats) and it shrinks away from the nail edge. Still a good polish, I'll definitely rock it this fall! Reminds me of juicy red apples!

it is undeniable how gorgeous this polish is, but unfortunately the formula is a disaster to work with. It is almost jelly-like in consistency. As soon as you begin to apply it to your nail, it does not want to move, almost as if its drying immediately..? It becomes egregiously thick and trying to continue to paint your nail just results in it becoming goopy and overall, a horribly textured mess. I have short nails, and I can't even imagine the horror of having long nails and dealing with such a mess! I have purchased other polishes from mooncat that I think have perfectly fine formulas, so to be honest I just think this one would benefit from a bit of a formula tweak. Either way, im going to try putting some nail polish thinner in my bottle and see if it helps so it doesnt feel like ive wasted money...but im bummed about this one. I don't think I would recommend buying this particular nail polish, as there are others for sale that work much better!
